Fonsorbais. Boxing: gold and silver in K1 rules light
Five young athletes from the Fonsorbais Boxing Club qualified to participate in the last France championship of the season, in K rules light, at the Pierre de Coubertin stadium in Paris, last March: Lou-Syanah de Sousa, Keyton Rey, Chahinez Rahali, Florian Paul and Théo Aiello.
Chahinez Rahali came back with the gold medal while Florian Paul and Keyton Rey each won a silver medal. Unfortunately, in the first round, Lou-Syanah met an opponent of a very good technical and boxing level and who would later win the title of France champion.
Just like Keyton who lost in the final and had to settle for the silver medal. But both have not demerited. Indeed, they made very nice oppositions. This suggests a lot of room for improvement for the future. Theo Aiello suffered a logical defeat even if it was played out at not much.
It is up to him to learn from this experience for the future. Florian Paul was unfortunately defeated in the final after a flawless season and already a France championship title. In his defense, he was injured during this competition. His opponent, already defeated in the previous championship, played his career on this fight. This was not the case with the young Fonsorbais.
Too bad, because the title was quite within his reach. He had to settle for money. Chahinez Rahali, after a two-stage kicklight championship, imposed his supremacy in light. She ended her career undefeated. His various opponents of very good levels allowed him to question himself in each fight and thus reach the highest step of the podium.
